control state between forms

    I have an application that works fine in IE however when i try on the device,
    i have a problem.
    I have a selectionlist that i select on one form, then select next form
    (same page) and the selected item in form1 has now been reset.
    What is going on and how can i prevent this?

    When i test the app in IE the state of the selected form remains as
    previously selected.

    Please help
