Hello,

I have an application developed in .net 2003, I am using SQL Server and
MSDE 2000 as a back-end.
I want to deploy it on laptop (Win-XP) and to give two option when
application start.
1) Data from Network Connection (Network is Win Server 2003, SQL 2000)
Instance Name : SBGBho
2) Data from Local System (Laptop - Win XP, MSDE 2000). Instance Name :
CH\BRPROF , TYPE\BRPROF and many more....

How can I switch between two data source , as per my knowlede followings may
be sollution .
1) Store instance name on client pc's registry , and software call it when
started.
2) Find PC Name i.e. CH or TYPE etc. and as BRPROF is common for all
client.

Am I on right way, or any other alternate is, and above is fit , then how
can I do .

Harsha..............
