for subsequent what? are you generating the reports on the server for
the client to print? are you sending every document to a central
printer? are you generating PDF's to be stored on the server for
later access?
If your company has standardized on sql server and your app is an
asp.net app, then I would suggest looking into reporting services as
that is a really nice, integrated solution with a lot of features.
if you're running a fat client/server, then I would suggest looking
into active reports.
