Is your department a member of the Microsoft Developers Network Academic
    Alliance (MSDNAA)?
If so, ask your MSDNAA Administrator about the private MSDNAA newsgroups,
where you'll gain access to tech support targeted at just these sorts of
    issues.
If you're not already a member, but are interested in MSDNAA, look here:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/academic/

I know what you want to do can be done, but as I'm not part of out
department's lab staff, I don't have the details.
