Hello Gerry
I will follow your steps and perform the test. By the way, I have reported
the WMI issue in the Vista - Vista environment to the product group, and
they are helping me look into the cause. I will persuade them and set the
issue to a higher priority. Thank you for reporting the issue to us. If
they give me any updates, I will inform you. If we figure out any methods
to work around the WMI problem, I will also let you know.
If you simply want a command-line tool to delete the inaccessible files in
a remote computer, I think that you may either consider writing such a
utility by ourselves, or using the tool, robocopy. I remember that we once
discussed in the thread "Delete File - Bypass NTFS?", in which I provided
the sample codes and the robocopy script for your reference. I have
verified that those samples only work for the remote files. Please let me
know whether this solution relieves the problem more or less.
Regards,
Jialiang Ge (jialge@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, remove 'online.')
