USB finger keys and wmi

Hi all,
I've browsed a bit the archive of the group in search for a solution
but, alas, in vain.
My problem is I'm monitoring the file activities on a USB key using
wmi, but this prevents it from being stopped/ejected the usual way.
As far as I am on my reflection, I need an event which would be
triggered by the user asking for the key to be ejected, or I need to
completely redesign my software. (BTW, i'm working on XP/NT/Server
2003).
Do you guys have any advice for me?
Robinson D.
