RE: Win32_NetworkConnection closes connectios in remote monitoring?

One last thing, both systems were running Windows XP SP2

Hi,

We have been doing some testings with the Win32_NetworkConnection class
and we found some curious behaviour.

We ensured that the mapped drives were connected and tested with wbemtest
and the results were OK, then we tried to do the query from a remote machine
using the same credentials as the logged user in the target system. In the
exact moment that the query is made, the mapped drive is marked as
disconnected and we never get the connected result even if the mapped drive
is fully operational.

Why is this behaviour happening? Is there a workaround to get the proper
connection status?
