James,
Since writing this i've made some progress i.e. NetConnectionID
property in the Win32_NetworkAdapter class contains the device
description which reflexs the NIC description in the network
connections in control panel. However I can't seem to find the property
nor class for the binding order of the nic cards. Can you help?
regards

Hi All
Could anybody help is me in writing a PowerScript (or MSH)/WQL snipet
which could query a Active Directory or Organizational Unit for a list
of hosts, then query this list and return all active NIC cards which
have Green or Yellow in there description (as per there property which
can be configured in the control panel network properties in the win
OS). This list could then be acted upon to change there settings i.e
staticIP / subnet DNS etc?
Which particular part of the script are you having difficulty with?
