This is not the place to ask this question for the best answer if you are
asking about software that interfaces with the software. This newsgroup is
for questions about software that interfases with people, not devices.
I have not participated in this newsgroup very much so to that extent it
does not matter to me if this question is asked here. I am just saying that
for the person asking the question, this is not the ideal place to ask it.

I am wondering what language is best to learn for programming commercial
software that may use external devices? I have started on C++, but I am
