Rebar gradient background

I used a Rebar control and abilited the XP Themes. In this way, the Rebar
gets a nice roundish look, but it has a gradient which is very different
from standard menu bars. The only solution I found to get rid of the
gradient was to disable the themes for the Rebar control.
Do you know of any other solutions, which would let me keep the 3D style?
btw I'm using plain C.

*&a:t--;printf(" \0/*"+a));while ((a^=3)||a[++s]);;}
