Mixed Arabic and "English" text

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I would like to display something like: "xxxxx[22]" in a single-line exit
control. Where "xxxxx" are actually Arabic (right-to-left) characters.

What I get displayed is: "22]xxxxx]". The same thing happens in Notepad too
if you enter some Arabic characters, switch to English and then type:
"[22]". So I assume that it is expected. Everything looks fine to me if I
enter "[ZZ]" for the English portion. It's the fact that there is a digit
after the "[" that causes the problem.

What I'm hoping for is a way to 'protect' the digits from the special
processing that happens when the text is displayed.

Have I got any hope?

Thanks,
Allan.
