You download files larger the 32 GB often?
In FAT32 the limit on the size of a single file is somewhat below that.
I was able to successfully download Vista to a FAT32 volume. I have files larger then 2GB on FAT32 volumes.
MSDN isn't that large. It still fits on 3 CDs.
OK, I guess the only MSDN download that couldn't be stored on a FAT32 partition was an MSDN Library English-language version. The CD version fits on 3 CDs but the DVD version doesn't. The DVD version is over 4GB, last I saw.
(Now's not the time to mention that downloads of Debian come as 2 DVD images. But I only installed it under Virtual PC since I don't even have a spare crash box to install it from burned DVDs.)
