xtapi

I am trying to run the examples that come with xtapi. Problem is
having set up everything I get a FileNotFoundException telling me
xtapi.inf cannot be found. I have no idea where to put it,. I have
tried system; system32; and the inf subdirectory there. It doesn't
work. I am not a windows guru or a jtapi guru so I do not know what to
do. Please help.
