Can I use ITAMMediaFormat:: Put_MediaFormat with the recording terminal?

Hello

Can I use the

ITAMMediaFormat:: Put_MediaFormat with the recording terminal ?

I want to set the format of the file before I start recording , I tried to

use this method before with the media stream terminal and it works, but when

I tried to use it with the recording terminal I got the exception "Method is

not supported at this time".
