from my experience: follow the advice Andreas has on his (great) tapi site and make sure the tsp runs in a distinct svchost.exe. Then, in addition to that, you do the following:
- go to service control panel
- select the ras man service
- open the properties page
- switch start mode to "deactivated"
- reboot your system
From that moment on, if your tsp fails, you can usually just restart the telephony service from within service control panel to reload the tsp.
of course, this is not a good idea if you need rasmans services
good luck, christoph

Andreas, here my answers. Thanks..
-how exactly did you notice the crash of the TSP?
The TSP have a monitor tool and it shows that it's disconnect.
-Did you already report the issue to the TSP manufacturer?
They don't offer support for the TSP.
-Was TAPISRV actually successfully stopped when you tried to or did stopping fail?
I have to kill it in the task manager. I can't stop it via services console.
-What services are dependant on TAPISRV on your PC?
RasMan service.
-What OS/SP are you using?
WinXP SP2

I have an TAPI application that works with Panasonic TSP. Sometimes the TSP
crashes and I want to restart it. How can I do? I tried to stop TapiSrv
service and restart it, but the TSP didn't start to work. So, I have to
restart the computer, but it's not a solution for me.
