Suri,

some modems are just bad in detecting DTMF (especially
during wave playback), I would suggest trying a different modem.

Thanks Matthias. I have implemeted your solution to detect the DTMF
and switch to voice and if we do not receive anything, we will treat
the call as data call.

I ran into issues detecting the DTMF after a call have be processed as
data call (previous call). Sometimes I receive the DTMF if I pressed
the digits several times. I believe it is the problem of the modem.
the exact steps that I do are:

1. register the line for interactive voice and data mode with monitor
and onwer privilage.
2. wait for the incoming call
3. answer the incoming call
4. do gather digits for n seconds
5 if digit received during the n seconds handoff the call to voice
application, else (no digits received), set the media mode to data and
handoff the call to the data application.
6. release the call handle.
7. go to step 2.

Any suggestions on improvements that I can make to detect the dtmf
even after a successful data handoff would be appreciated.
