there are different LINEMEDIAMODE_ Constants used for this:
_DATAMODEM, _INTERACTIVEVOICE, and/or _AUTOMATEDVOICE..
You may want to check for the supported ones in
LINEDEVCAOS.dwMediaModes
In addition see dwBearerMode and its LINEBEARERMODE_ Constants.
