Thank you for contacting Creative Technical Support.
It is my understanding that you are interested in a modem, but would
like to know which TAPI media mode is supported by our modems.
I do not believe any of our current modems use TAPI. The older ones,
at the time used TAPI1. Also Windows 2000/XP no longer supports TAPI
either and all of modems use these operating systems.
If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to respond
accordingly.

I agree with you and Matthias:
this "Technical Support" statement is just complete rubbish!
All AT command set based modem are supported by the generic UniModem.TSP
supplied by MS with all current OS (including W2k and XP).
