Re: Random tapisrv.dll crashes, stuck in infinite loop

Hi Andreas

Just a preliminary update. I enabled the tapisrv tracing and found that
the following message gets generated a couple of thousand times during
the same second.

[1480] 11:52:30:766 [INFO ] Got an spevent

I see that this same line gets generated only once under normal
circumstances, after lineEventProcSP is called.

I'm having trouble determining why this loop occurs though, because by
the time I get the process stopped, the older log entries seem to be
truncated, so I'm stuck with a 1mb log file containing only "Got an
spevent". I've noticed that a .old file also gets generated, but that
file is also filled with "Got an spevent" messages.

I have log entries before and after I execute the lineEventProc from
TSP side, and those entries are always in the log file, indicating that
lineEventProc completed.

What is the difference between lineEventProc and lineEventProcSP?

Thanks,
Stephan
