tapisrv.dll gets stuck in an infinite loop. None of the TSPI_ functions
get called recurrently. Everyone executes successfully, but the
infinite loop still occurs.

I followed the instructions in your FAQ, and that's how I traced into
tapisrv.dll and discovered that the loop occurs. I used the MS
Repeater.tsp as well, and it didn't reveal any problems to me.

what are the symptoms of this infinite loop, i.e. what is the actual problem?
What doesn't work anymore?


Is there anyway to enable logging of some sort on TAPI level?

To enable the OS-internal TAPI tracing:
The TAPI32 (i.e. TAPI 2.x), TAPI3 (i.e. TAPI 3.x) and TAPISRV debug output can
be activated from
console in XP and WS2k3 (no checked build required):
netsh ras set tracing tapisrv enable
netsh ras set tracing tapi32 enable
netsh ras set tracing tapi3 enable
The log files can be found in \Windows\tracing\
