Andreas,
Thank you for your answer.
Becase in the "CallBridge_Collection_Installation_Manual.pdf"
....
4.7 Warning Regarding PC Sound
The following Dialog appears before the installation of CallBridge TU is
completed:
By installation of the USB Drivers, the telephone as become
the 'prefered device for sound playback and recording'.
In order to be able to use the PC sound again, go to 'Start -
Settings - Control Panel - Sounds and Multimedia - Audio' and
re-enable the PC sound under 'Sound playback' und 'Sound
recording'.
....
and the "optiPoint Audio" as become my prefered device for sound playback
and recording.
If not, which is the utility of the "optiPoint Audio" "USB Audio Device"?
Best Regards,
Victor Santos

I'm developing a TAPI application (in Borland Delphi) for a Siemens
HiPath
500 and a Siemens HiPath 3000 using the CallBridge Collection v2.0 and
OptiPoint 500 basic or OptiPoint 500 standad phones, but I cannot make
the
OptiPoint "USB Audio Device" to function correctly.
I'm not getting any sound with the OptiPoint "USB Audio Device", nor play
or
record any sounds, OptiPoint "USB Audio Device" is not functioning at
all.
Not even using the Windows Media Player I listen or record any sound.
How OptiPoint "USB Audio Device" works?
I can reproduce/play a wav file during a call using the OptiPoint "USB
Audio
Device"?
I can record a call to a wav file using the OptiPoint "USB Audio Device"?
I sincerely thank to all your answers, or any help you can give me.
My configuration is:
* Windows XP SP2
* Siemens HiPath 500 / 3000
* Siemens OptiPoint 500 Basic / Standart
* CallBridge Collection V2.0 Version: 2.0.00.09 Date: 17.11.2005
* USB drivers Version: 1.20.0.40 Date: 18.11.2004
Victor,
why are you under the impression that CallBridge TSP has media support?
I wasn't involved in the latest development but AFAIK it doesn't support
media
(i.e. it is neither exposing wave devices nor media terminals).
