Hi Matthias,
Thanx for your prompt reply.
The device which i m talking about, at present it is not sending the
audio data to the COM port, bt we are planning to do so. The device is
having its own MIC and speaker. Actually it behaves jst as a desktop
phone but without any keypads. This device will be controlled using the
TAPI application (any general TAPI app).
from the suggestions u provided I think the first one would be very
close to wht i m looking for.
I m aware of the way out with doing MSP, but as u pointed out, then the
TAPI apps need to use TAPI3, so it cannot be done.
and using the another COM Port setup, I think it will require some h/w
changes, so that is also not I can proceed with.
But as u said abt that audio driver I think thats the best way out till
now. bt again I am a novice on writing an audio driver. Do you have any
idea abt how difficult it can be or any resource pointers which can
help the cause. I am proceeding in that direction at present.
If in case i connect the modem to the PBX port directly, in that case
wht TSP i will be using. coz for modems I shud be using UniModem TSP.
so where will be my translations from TAPI commands to the PBX
understandable commands will take place ??
Thanking you,
Aakash
.
