Well, to be precise I replied to Matthias' posting (and addressed him
directly) where he IMO wrongly or better incompletely mentioned that ::GetID()
is (only) available on XP.
My posting was a general statement about availability of ::GetID().
I wasn't directly addressing you regarding VB usage.
Obviously ::GetID() cannot be used directly from VB regardless of the OS.
>From VB you need to use ::GetIDByVariant() being only avaiable with TAPI 3.1
and therefore only on XP and WS2k3.
