Is this not like you should have an ordinary Answering Machine take the call
before you do, and you hear your conversation on the Answering Machine
speaker?
I guess the point in this forum may not really be to find an easy solution,
but to do what the modem producers "should have done". Several modems these
days support Full Duplex, and the modem producers have not updated their
drivers yet. So far I only know about one that actually have been set to
full duplex from the manufacturer, and that is AOpen with it's FM56-PX
model. Their Wave section looks like
[Wave]
HKR, WaveDriver, WaveHardwareID , , "FULLDUPLEX"
HKR, WaveDriver, WaveDevices ,1, 01, 00
HKR, WaveDriver, BaudRate ,1, 00, C2, 01, 00
HKR, WaveDriver, XformID ,1, 08, 00
HKR, WaveDriver, XformModule , , "umdmxfrm.dll"
HKR,,VoiceBaudRate
