Bi-Directional video problem

anyone know what can cause all video streams fail to get rendered (the
stream stays active but the video goes blank) once both machines on a point
to point call send video?

I'm using:
TAPI 3.0
DirectX 9
H.323 address

I connect the streams to the terminals exactly as shown in every example and
book. I'm really at my whits end. ANY help would be appreciated, thanks.
