In the absolute, I guess it means that a voice modem should work like
a telephone does, ie. you must be able to read and write data at the
same time.
If the modem you're currently using for development doesn't seem to do
this even through you're using a TAPI version + Unimodem/V that should
enable this... you might want to get in contact with the company that
manufactures this modem and ask them if their driver really supports
this. You might learn that their driver is screwed up, and you're just
wasting your time :-)
