Hi Walter
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.
The incorrect behavior I mentioned is still happening in all Office 2002
apps. It does however, work correctly in the VC++ 6 OLE Client Test app that
you mentioned. I am just waiting to try it on a colleague's machine who has
Office 2007 installed. If this works, I guess it must be a bug with the OLE
support in Office 2002, which is a nuisance since a lot of our clients are
still running this version. I wonder if there is a workaround for 2002? I
realize this is hard for you to test if you don't have access to it on your
machine.
If you have any further ideas for a fix, please let me know.
Best Regards
Mark

Hi Mark,
I just tried it again after changing the dialog a bit and tested it on
Word
2003/2007, both are working correctly. I currently don't have a Word 2002
at hand so I haven't tried it.
I also tested it in the OLE Client Test tool included in Visual C++ 6.0
and
it works correctly.
Screenshot attached, you might have to use Outlook Express (Windows Mail
on
Vista) do download the attachments.

Walter Wang (wawang@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, remove 'online.')
