Sure, just make sure it is clear your documents consist of multiple
files. However, I'd advise you to move your existing data into a
stream within the compound document and provide export and
import into your original standalone format.

Hi

I have a need to store the current data into one file and the
ole(embedded) data into another. Currently my applications has a
custom file for the present data structure. I cant/dont want to touch
this file. For annotating i implemented ole so that user can insert
content like spread*** etc. I want to store this data into a
seperate file.

Is this possible.

Please point me.

Thanks
Sachin
