I have an issue with my dad's windows vista home premium machine. I click
start > run > type '\\server' to access the server. I type the username
and
password for the server when prompted, and check 'remember my password'.
All
is good until the user loggs off, restarts or shuts down. The password is
forgotten again and i have to type it in again.
All other machines are XP professional, and server 2003 small business
server - none of these have the same problem and work perfectly.
Is there a way to make windows vista home premium remember the password
when
i check 'remember the password' ?
Any help well appreciated.
