Sorry for a long delay with answer. Actually a call to register a groupname
is making a broadcast with at least 4 udp messages on my machine (XP SP2).
Probably it also wait for a reply within a specified interval of time,
that's why there is delay when executing a function. Here is what I see in
my sniffer when I do a registration (the machine which is registering a
groupname is not the same where I sniff the data)

Where 0000 29 10 is the "registration", and the description of packet,
aa<00><00><00><00><00><00><ff><ff><ff><ff><00><00><ff><00>: type NB, class
IN

Yes, you can use russian language, but the NG is english speaking.

If I have correctly understood you, at initialization of a group name I do
not transfer what data. The delay seems to me is connected to adjustments
NetBios but with what I do not know. On the majority of computers with
Windows XP there is a delay at initialization of a group name, but on my
computer of it is not present. In my application sometimes it is necessary
to
carry out initialization up to 15 group names, therefore such delay causes
long start of the application.

It is possible to communicate with you in Russian language?
