Having the adapter id you can query it's mac address via
OID_802_3_CURRENT_ADDRESS IOCTL. List of ids for adapters you can read from
registry, SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Adapters

Hello,
Does anyone know if Windows (XP/2000) saves the physical MAC address
of an old NIC card that was previously inside a PC? may be saved in a
config. file or the registry or ... ?
Cheers,
