Alternatively you can use a Linux 2.6 or FreeBSD box as a router
between your internal test network and your main network and
use free products for both that do the same job: iptables for Linux
and ipfw for FreeBSD.
Actually, I think it's dummynet for BSD. On linux, netfilter (for which
iptables is one of the userspace tools).

I'd like to install some software on my LAN PC to limit the bound rate
in order to simulate the Internet situation witch is 150 kb/s for
downlink (and 1.5 mb/s for uplink).
Is there something that does that?
