There is no error returned by the socket.

It's just that I expect to receive information every 4 seconds, and I stop
receiving it after a while (some hours), then I close the socket and wait
for another connection. Then the device connects again and starts sending
information every 4 seconds, until it fails again.

It has been fully tested under Windows XP, this just happens in Windows
Vista.

Nobody has had similar issues??

Thanks,
Arnau.

Hi group,

I've developed a server application that receives TCP/IP connections
from
some devices located in the local network. These devices are not PCs.

Under XP everything goes fine, but under Windows Vista this TCP/IP
connections become invalid after some hours. Information is being sent
every
4 seconds through the socket.

Does anybody have an idea why this happens?

Thanks!
