Hi,
My understanding of your issue is that:
You encountered many errors when you compiled your project including
wlanapi.h on your Windows XP SP2 machine.
If I have misunderstood, please let me know.
To develop a Wireless LAN application, in addition to installing the
Wireless LAN API package (KB918997), it also requires your installing
Microsoft Windows SDK for Vista.
If you have not installed the SDK, please download it from this link:
Microsoft® Windows® Software Development Kit for Windows Vista? and .NET
Framework 3.0 Runtime Components
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c2b1e300-f358-4523-

This SDK is only compatible with Visual Studio 2005 and the later versions,
so I recommend that you use Visual Studio 2005 to compile your project.
Also, WPA2 and MSXML 6.0 are neccessary components, you can download them
from:
The Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2)/Wireless Provisioning Services
Information Element (WPS IE) update for Windows XP with Service Pack 2 is
available
http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?id=893357
Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=993C0BCF-3BCF-4009-

If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to let me
know.
Sincerely yours,
Charles Wang
