Windows 2003 faxcomex api HEADACHE!!

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I have the exact same problem with a post made back 7 months ago
(http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.win32.programmer.networks/browse_frm/thread/6bccdc80ef2676c8/081a89a2c4a1f405?lnk=st&q=800710d8&rnum=2#081a89a2c4a1f405).
Fortunatelly that guy managed to overcome his difficulties.

Here's my situation:

The code that produces the error is in C#, Windows Forms Application,
on a Windows 2003 SP1 (automatic updates are enabled) machine. Here's
the code: http://pastebin.com/716208

The fax server is located on the same machine as the app. I reinstalled
the fax services several times with no luck.

When I call ConnectedSubmit I get error 800710D8, "Operation Failed".
The bizzare thing is that if I make a call to a remote fax server, this
error is not produced!

This is a true nightmare :((

Thanks in advance
