Appears to be a problem with the IPv6 install on that machine. Please try
this and let me know what results...
(1) uninstall IPv6 by doing
C:\netsh int ipv6 uninstall
wait for it to complete
(2) uninstall P2P by doing
Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows
Components -> Networking Services -> uncheck Peer-to-Peer
wait for it to complete
(3) restart machine
(5) install P2P by doing
Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows
Components -> Networking Services -> check Peer-to-Peer
wait for it to complete
(6) enable P2P services by doing
C:\net start p2psvc
Hope that resolves the problems you are seeing.

si_wong.

Hello,
We are experimenting with the MS P2P API and encountered a problem on one
on
the computers we are using for tests: the services can no longer be
started
and the samples shipped with the SDK no longer work.
Here are some error messages we saved:
C:\Documents and Settings\florin1>net start p2psvc
System error 1068 has occurred.
The dependency service or group failed to start.
C:\Documents and Settings\florin1>net start pnrpsvc
The Peer Name Resolution Protocol service is starting.
The Peer Name Resolution Protocol service could not be started.
A system error has occurred.
System error 10045 has occurred.
The attempted operation is not supported for the type of object
referenced.
C:\Documents and Settings\florin1>
***************************
netsh interface ipv6>p2p pnrp cloud
netsh p2p pnrp cloud>show list
Error 0x800706d9.
There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper.
Reinstalling P2P Networking sometimes helps, but it looks like once we
restart the computer one can no longer make it work.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance,
