Sounds like a permissions problem.

I'm not sure what this means. You're using XP Pro *as* a broadband
router with software? Or you installed a physical router that you want
to use as a proxy?
You may get more responses if you ask on a non-programming newsgroup,
like:

(I haven't sampled any of these to see how active or appropriate they
