Not sure what you are asking. If you want to
select Line In (as opposed to Mic, etc) you can
use the Mixer API. (Warning: Steep learning curve
ahead! I have found that the free Mixer Browser
utility makes the learning and debugging process
much easier.)
On the other hand, if you are asking how to get
the A/D values from the input, have a look at the
waveIn API functions.
