WIA not enumerating all items

We are using IWiaItem::EnumChildItems to enumerate camera contents but are getting different results on two Vista systems with the same model Canon camera and the same contents. These are cameras that support raw images, and the raw images are being enumerated on one system but not on the other. Both systems enumerate JPGs correctly.

We think that the same Canon drivers/software is installed on both machines (we're verifying that).

Can anyone suggest a cause for the second system "suppressing" the enumeration of raw images?

TIA,
Chris
