I did'nt mean it , my mistake , as it writes in subject i am looking for
image\video compression\deccompression library for both server and client.
The reason I say that I wont use Directshow is about not using ready Dshow
filters.
Insteaf of using them again I look for an external library which has the
ability to work on buffers.

I am using Directshow to get streams from files or
capture devices in server side. But I don't want use it
also in client side.
I am building my client in pure WinAPI. So I am looking
for ANSI or only Win32 dependent open or closed free
libraries for C\C++.
DirectShow is a closed source free library that only depends
on Win32. Why don't you like it on the client side?
