Contacts folder properties

When I create a contacts folder, how do I configure it so that
the checkbox: "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" is
automatically enabled, when the user looks at the Contacts folder
properties? I do not see any difference at all in the folder properties
using Outlook Spy on a checked vs un-checked folder.
