CDOSYS broken on Vista?

I have some code written in VB6 sending smtp emails using CDOSYS that
worked fine under XP, but it is broken on Vista. I read other people
reporting the same story: CDOSYS no longer work under Vista.
Could someone confirm that CDOSYS is in fact broken?
