Thank for your forwarding and thanks to the other guy for these good
answers. May I ask to some followup questions?
1. Problem solved, I've got a workaround. It was a bug. I had opened a case
already in the meantime (Case Number [...]). A KB article will be written.

3. Thanks for the link. New version of ptag.exe: Where do I find that? I
cannot find it on the Exchange 2003 CD.
4. What others? Will I get another email?

7. No, I get returned PT_UNICODE like requested, but still only lpszA filled
out. That's why I think it's a bug. Because I have changed to ANSI, I don't
need an other solution (that's why I didn't open a support case). But it
would be a good idea to see this bug listed in the KB (if it is a bug). But
it was already a good information to know that profile API doesn't support
unicode.
It would be great to have an answer to these three open questions (3, 4, 7)
too.
