I dont want to disable the pagefile, though i have 2 GB
RAM and i dont even use 3/4 of it. Is there a way?
If you have lots of available memory, then your process won't get paged
out. Windows only writes pages to the page file when it runs out of
physical memory. And in that case, you should WANT to let Windows manage
the memory.
Remember that there is more than a half a century of research in virtual
memory paging algorithms, and the folks at Microsoft read that research.
Let the operating system do its job, and you'll get the best overall
performance of your system.
