Hello Ben,
<snip>
<snip>As a result I'm posting this message, in which I (here it comes)
want to ask if someone maybe has an idea to how I can get
Windows to allow me to use the whole drive (an updated/
special driver ? Other methods ? A (minimal) file-server
solution perhaps ?), and/or what to look out for (so I can
use the drive without worrying about loosing my data).
Easiest solution -- boot a linux livecd, run fdisk, disk-druid, or your
favorite other partitioning software that gets the partition table right,
then reboot and use from windows.
Thanks for your answer.
It looks like, after rading Grzegorz and your answers, that I do not have to
worry about that 32 GB border I keep reading about, so I'm going to give it
a try. :-)
Regards,
Rudy Wieser
