I tried creating a separate window, in a separate thread as a message only
window. It did not see the WM_QUERYENDSESSION message. Could it be that
the
console application is stopping the thread before it could receive the
message?
Sorry about that. I just tried it here without success either. If I get some
time, I'll try to find out if it is possible to proceed along the way I
sketched.
