Perhaps the event log service has already stopped by the time you are trying
to call ReportEvent.

Hi,

I have faced a problem while logging into event log at system shutdown
from with in the service. It always giving an error with error code
1717. Can anyone from you provide me the solution for this problem. I
serached internet for this problem and donot find any solution. May be
you people can help.
