How to detect monitor type
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Hi,
i'm trying to detect what kind of monitor is attached to my primary
display adapter. (CRT or TFT, LCD).
I tried the wmi approach with Win32_DesktopMonitor but this doesn't
give me any reliable results. In fact it always returns the crt type of
screen even if a lcd screen is attached.
Are there any other ways to determine which kind of monitor is attached
to my system in C/C++ style.
Thanks in advance
Sven
