I don't intend on using this for production code. It's mostly out of
personally interest.
Knowing how things work has always been an interest of mine, that's why I
read this newgroup everyday :)

How are these implimented internally, pointers to memory locations in the
kernel?
I'll suggest that you're better off not knowing. Regardless of how
they're implemented, there's no way of knowing what might change in the
future. If it's not documented, you can't count on it remaining unchanged
and you can't rely on being alerted when it does change.
