how to force to read from cache?

空白hi... for example,I copy many small pictures to usb disk...
then preview them without replug the device.
the os generate a private file - thumbs.db
I wonder, where the os puts this file, system ram or my disk?
It seems, os generates the file everytime I check the thumbnail
view style without take care of the old one,right?
I can specify a pagefile.sys for each disk.
then, how can I specify a pagefile.sys for drive E, but put
the pagefile.sys at driver C ?
Can I force the os to read from cache or force the os not to flush the
Lazy-write cache? how to ?
Can I assign a system buffer or extend the cache size just for my disk?
